Privacy & Security at TD Cascade

Since May 25, 2018, everyone must comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (AVG). The regulation contains extensive obligations for businesses and strengthens the rights of individuals whose data is processed.

So at TD Cascade, we are committed to the proper protection and security of people, resources, information and privacy. We have designed our organization and systems to do just that. We make every effort every day to properly apply the rules for protection and security. For our customers. For ourselves.

We have taken appropriate measures to prevent abuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorized modification. For example, our website has an SSL certificate to ensure that your personal data does not fall into the wrong hands and we have a certified supplier for the hosting of our websites.

Processing and storage

We only process personal data when it is for a purpose. For example, to contact you by telephone or e-mail. Or to carry out an assignment based on an agreement. We do not keep data longer than is strictly necessary to realize the purposes for which they were collected. If no agreement is concluded, we do not keep data longer than two years.

Provision to third parties

We do not provide personal data to third parties for marketing purposes. Only when necessary for the execution of an order or to comply with a legal obligation will data be exchanged with third parties.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to investigate how users use our website. General visit data including the IP address of devices, the time of retrieval and data sent by browsers are tracked.
We use this data to analyze visit and click behavior in order to improve the functioning of our website.

This data is anonymized as much as possible and is not provided by us to third parties. However, Google transfers the information obtained to servers in the United States and stores the data. We have not given Google permission to use the information for other Google services. Google may, however, provide the obtained data to third parties if it is legally required to do so or if other parties process the information on Google's behalf. TD Cascade has no influence on this. More information can be found in Google's privacy policy. Here you will also find the privacy policy of Google Analytics.

MailChimp

For creating and sending newsletters, we use MailChimp. This online marketing platform is part of The Rocket Science Group LLC, based in the United States. Personal data of newsletter subscribers are added to MailChimp's database. This data is processed when newsletters are sent. In addition, MailChimp makes use of web beacons. These beacons are included in the email newsletter, and keep track of, among other things, whether and when the email is opened, which links readers click on. (Opt-out: unsubscribe by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the newsletter). View MailChimp Privacy Statement.

Cookies are small text files stored on the device you use to visit a website that store information about (your visit to) these websites. Our website uses different types of cookies. For convenience, session cookies are used to remember visitor input and choices (e.g. choice of language). Because the session cookie records which parts of the website are viewed during a visit, we can adjust our website accordingly.
The session cookies are automatically removed from the device used as soon as the browser is closed.
